LONGCHAMP UNVEILS ITS NEW CONTEMPORARY ART INSTALLATIONS AT CENTRAL EMBASSY BOUTIQUE
Longchamp interprets the beauty of craftsmanship and Thai artistic expression through a series of contemporary works created exclusively for its Central Embassy boutique. The space reflects the Maison’s modern perspective on elegance, authenticity, and refined design, while underscoring its commitment to art and meaningful, immersive experiences.
Designed to evoke the warmth of a Parisian apartment, Longchamp boutiques embrace a sense of intimacy and welcome. In Thailand, this spirit is enriched through a collaboration with Pete–Teerapoj Teeropas, founder of Kitt-Ta-Khon and a master of traditional rattan weaving. His contemporary reinterpretation of local materials takes shape in two bespoke installations crafted especially for this boutique.
Weave in Bold I transforms the meditative rhythm of weaving into a dynamic visual composition, layering Longchamp’s signature nylon ropes with precisely arranged rattan. The piece reveals both structure and softness as an interplay of strength, movement, and quiet refinement.
Green Gradients, by contrast, embraces fluidity. Here, rattan curves and sweeps like wind through water, its gradations of green capturing shifts of light and depth. The result is a work that feels alive: sensitive, detailed, and anchored in a deep understanding of material.
The boutique also introduces The Fields by Aor–Pornpan Sutthiprapha, the ceramic artist behind the celebrated installation at Longchamp ICONSIAM. Her new work evokes a gentle landscape, a curved green ceramic tiles arranged with thoughtful freedom, recalling rooted plains that move with the rhythm of nature. It invites visitors to pause, breathe, and reconnect.
